Onion is such a great vegetable with a lot of nutrients, but Chinese cooking doesn’t use onion as much as other vegetables. When I was living in the Netherlands, I came up with this recipe – Sweet and Sour Onion. It is so easy to make, and can be a great side dish for a meal. After I moved back to China, I introduced this dish to my parents, who rarely bought onions at all, they loved it!
