Spinach in Sweet and Sour Sauce

This is a Chinese appetizer, healthy and really easy to make.

Spinach in Sweet and Sour Sauce


250g spinach
5g ginger
3 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp light soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar


  1. Quickly put the spinach in just-boiled water and take it out (maybe 30 seconds). Wait for the spinach to cool down, squeeze the water out completely.
  2. Finely chop the ginger. Place in a bowl, add all the seasoning and mix well to make a dressing.
  3. Put the spinach and the dressing in a big bowl, mix well and it’s ready to serve.
Tip: Add some salt in the just-boiled water to keep the color of the spinach fresh.
